You can reposition the icons on your Home screen. Just tap and hold any icon. When it starts vibrating, drag it any where you like. You can also drag the Phone, Mail, Safari and iPod icons onto the Home screen and replace them with apps you use more frequently. When done press the Home button to lock the icons.
